1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using CompliAI, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. CompliAI is operated by CompliAI (ABN 56 591 469 534).

2. The service

CompliAI is a compliance management tool that uses AI to extract obligations from policy documents and helps you track compliance tasks. The service is provided on an "as is" basis.

3. Not legal advice

CompliAI is a productivity tool, not a legal or compliance advisory service. The AI-extracted obligations are provided to assist you, but they may not be complete or accurate. You are responsible for verifying your compliance obligations with a qualified professional. CompliAI is not liable for any fines, penalties, or losses arising from reliance on the service.

4. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You must be 18 or older and authorised to act on behalf of your business.
  • You must not use the service for any unlawful purpose.

5. Subscriptions and billing

  • The Free plan allows 1 compliance policy at no cost.
  • The Pro plan is charged at $49 AUD per month, billed monthly via Stripe.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date.
  • Refunds are not provided for partial months.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of all documents and content you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited licence to process your content to provide the service. We do not share your documents with third parties except as required to operate the service (e.g. AI processing).

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, CompliAI's liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid in the 3 months prior to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages.

8. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time via the billing page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of ACT courts.
